About Us
Climb Beyond the Barrier Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit organization, our goal is to create safe and welcoming spaces for everyone to experience the thrill of climbing regardless of their background. We are committed to making climbing accessible for communities that face barriers and are underrepresented. We believe in the power of climbing to build confidence, foster community, and promote physical and mental well-being. Our team is dedicated to breaking down barriers to access and creating a more inclusive climbing community for all. The organization was established in 2024 as an effort to unite serval programs and events focused on under represented communities together under one umbrella. These programs include but not limited to Unharnessed Pride Climbing Club, The Alabama Potluck, The Chattanooga Kiki, Boulder in Color, and Werk the Red. We hope to expand provide more programing and events for communities through out the South.
At Climb Beyond the Barrier, we believe that everyone has the potential to reach new heights, both on and off the climbing wall. We are committed to empowering individuals, particularly those from underrepresented communities, to embrace their strengths, define their future, and make a positive impact on the world.

Our vision is a world where everyone has the opportunity to climb. We strive to create a more inclusive climbing community by promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of climbing. We envision a future where climbing is accessible to all, and where climbers from diverse backgrounds can come together to share their love of the sport and build a stronger, more connected community without the presence of barriers.
